This spherical propellant produces high velocity in various cartridges, including the 204 Ruger, 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 22-250 Remington, and 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO, among many others.

Hodgdon CFE 223 contains our Copper Fouling Eraser component, which was originally used in military propellant and significantly reduces copper fouling, resulting in extended periods of peak accuracy and less barrel cleaning time.

Because of the powder’s spherical nature, metering is quite accurate due to the spherical nature of the powder.
