What powder is H335 good for?

This spherical powder was developed for military use and is ideal for the 5.56 NATO/223 Remington. The 222 Remington and other varmint cartridges have a variety of applications. Prairie dog shooters will enjoy this, as J.B.

Is Hodgdon H335 Powder a stick powder?

Hodgdon H335 Smokeless Powder is a flat ball propellant that meters well, burns quickly, and is clean, making it ideal for use on the bench and in the field.

What is the difference between Hodgdon H322 and H335?

Hodgdon H335 Powder In Stock

What is the distinction between the two? H322 burns a little faster, which works well and can offer a higher velocity in a short barrel. Some argue that lighter bullets perform better with quicker powders. It should also be noted that H335 is the same as OG 223 powder.

Is H335 temperature sensitive?

H335 was the most sensitive to temperature-induced bullet velocity changes of the powders that were evaluated.

Is H335 a good powder for 223?

While H335 is one of the most often used powders for the.223 Remington, I discovered that H322 offered me more velocity in my short 16′′ barrel. H335 averaged 3000 frames per second, while H322 averaged 3100. At 100 yards, the accuracy and point of impact on target were roughly the same.

How many grains of H335 for 223?

This keeps the chamber pressure well below maximum while also being kind on the rifle and brass. Remember, I load all of my 55gr ammo with 25 grains of H335. In the base area, 223 brass is not as robust as Lake City 5.56 grains of brass and 25 grains of H335 will not cause overstress.
