CCI Primers 209 Muzzleloading are designed to offer the most reliable, consistent ignition in dry and humid situations while minimizing fouling.

One of the advantages of employing primers built specifically for muzzleloading rifles is that they are gentler than ordinary 209 shotshell primers, which helps to maintain constant velocities and minimizes the creation of crud rings. These primers are not intended for use in shotshells, but rather for muzzleloading rifles.
